People need to get the fuck over the KONY 2012 campaign. IT’S CORRUPT.
STOP GETTING SUCKED IN TO WELL-DESIGNED PROPAGANDA VIDEOS WITHOUT DOING YOUR RESEARCH, ESPECIALLY IF YOU THEN DECIDE TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT BY LIKING IT ON FACEBOOK OR WHACKING UP A POSTER OR A STICKER. You’re helping convince other idiots that KONY 2012 is a decent campaign.
By aiding the KONY 2012 campaign in any way shape or form you are supporting a war. Invisible Children fund the Ugandan army who in turn do just as much raping, pillaging and plundering as the forces they oppose. I should point out here that Kony hasn’t even been active in Uganda since 2006.
They also spend most of their profits on making their stupid films. There are photos of the Invisible Children posing with various guns with the Ugandan army online, and what humanitarian allows themselves to be arrested drunkenly masturbating in public? I’ve done some pretty weird stuff but if I was headlining something this serious I’d think twice about how I came across to the public.
